Microneedling
This treatment is one of our all-time favourites. It can be done year-round - but winter is optimal. It should not be performed on sun-sensitive skin due to the small punctures you are promoting within the skin. It is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that involves puncturing the skin with needles, which causes trauma and lesions to the skin to trigger your skin’s repair process and collagen production. (Sounds scary, but it’s not!)
This treatment is perfect for anyone who wants to postpone or reverse signs of ageing, promote clarity and improve overall tone and texture. You can add another layer of treatment by infusing the skin with antioxidants and peptides to the skin allowing the needles to push the products deeper where they can work. Before the procedure, we will cleanse the skin and use a mild exfoliation product to remove any loose cells from the surface. A Dermapling add-on is optional. Depending on the depth and strength of the needle, a numbing cream may be applied to ease discomfort. Once the procedure is complete, a broad-spectrum sunscreen will be applied to protect the skin from UV exposure.
Downtime varies and is dependent on the depth of the microneedle being used. Generally, you will be left with a pink, almost sunburnt complexion that will last 1-2 days.

The area being treated will be double cleansed followed by an exfoliating treatment. Once removed we usually apply a numbing cream for 10-15 minutes. As each area becomes desensitized, we will work in small sections at a time until the desired level of pinkness is achieved. Depending on your skin concerns, serums will be added during or post-treatment. A calming, regenerative mask will cool your skin down before we finish your treatment with protective products and aftercare instructions.

Dermaplaning is a painless way to exfoliate the top layer of your skin AND get rid of fine, vellus hair… AKA the dreaded peach fuzz! A medical-grade, straight sterile blade is used to gently stroke the face in most areas to exfoliate or remove dead skin cells as well as vellus hair from the epidermis layer of your skin. Because of this - dermaplaning also allows for better product penetration, reduces the appearance of fine lines, even skin tone and assists in reducing milia, closed and open comedones, and minor acne breakouts associated with congested pores. You will also get an overall smoothing appearance instantly. Don’t be afraid of the medical-grade straight sterile blade. The blade is stroked at an angle while your skin is held taught.
Following the dermaplaning treatment, it’s common to have a mild peel because the results will be amazing! With peach fuzz and dead skin cells gone, the peeling solution will be able to absorb more evenly and deeply to give you even better results!

Your facial will start with a deep, double cleanse to lift and clean impurities off the surface of your skin followed by an AHA solution to dry the top layers of the skin for the best dermaplaning results. Depending on your skin type, oil will be applied to your skin for slip and comfort while moving the blade along your skin. Following the dermaplaning, an enzyme mask will be applied to cover all the areas the blade wasn't able to reach. You will be finished off with extractions (if wanted or needed), hydrating mask and finishing products like moisturizer, eye cream and SPF.
