Cosmetic tattoo eyebrows, which includes microblading, is a permanent makeup technique that involves the precise application of pigments to create the appearance of fuller, more defined eyebrows. At the Beauty Corner we can use specialized tools to create hair-like strokes that blend seamlessly with your natural brow hair, resulting in a natural-looking, long-lasting solution for thin or sparse eyebrows. Polina loves to create beautiful velvety brows for our clients that will mimic a powdered look. This style can be customized to be sharp and makeup-like or to be much softer. Powdered brows can be used in conjunction with Microblading to add in hair strokes to complete the shape. The ideal time frame to come back for touch ups is between 2 and 5 years. When you return will depend on how much your brows will fade.

We recommend booking a consultation prior to the initial service to make sure you are a good candidate for the service you are wanting.
Your brow service will start off with a consultation. Polina will go over the full-service procedure with you and pre-draw your brows. No tattooing will start without your approval, we want you to love your brows! Tweaking and adjustments will be marked to make sure your brows fit your face shape and keep your natural brow intact as much as possible. Depending on the style of brow you want, Polina will either numb you before or after the brow mapping.
For the best numbing results, we normally leave the numbing on between 15-30 mins. Each client is different and we will discuss your pain tolerance in your consultation.
We ask you not drink coffee prior to your appointment and avoiding alcohol the night before. There are certain medications and health issues that can prevent and/or make your brow service difficult, please fill out your intake form honestly so that we can give you the best advice.
Once you are numb, the service will begin. Initially, you shouldn't feel any sharp pain. Most clients report a buzzing or pressure sensation. As we work on your brows we will periodically add more numbing. Some clients report a stinging or soreness sensation closer to the end of the appointment, usually a pain level of 3-5 out of 10. You are welcome to bring earbuds to listen to your tunes or favourite podcasts.
Once finished, Polina will go over that aftercare with you and book your touch-up session (if needed). We strongly suggest you follow the proper aftercare to make sure your brow heals very best. Your brows will look dramatically darker than their healed result.

Lash Line tattoos are the new eyeliner tattoos that have been finessed to look ultra natural yet still give your eyes enough pop. Not as scary as it sounds, our clients rave how painless our techniques are. Lash liner typically can last 2 to 3 years before a colour refresher is considered.

Similar to brows, we start each liner tattoo with a consultation of what can be expected, numbing time and the actual service.
Lash Liner tattooing is one of the fastest performed services as we don’t want to overwork the eyes. We start off with a strong, eye-safe numbing cream to desensitize your eyelids. In comparison to eyebrows, you will feel a stronger buzzing sensation. Initially, the pain level is quite mild but there are areas that are more tender, like the inner corners and right in between the lashes. We work with numbing regularly to keep you as comfortable and pain-free as possible. Most clients report a pain level of 4-7 out of 10. Your eyes will be closed for the full service and flushed with lubricating eye drops regularly.
It is very common to have your lids swollen directly after and for a few days following the service. Polina utilizes a tattoo technique to minimize swelling significantly. There are a few contraindications for eyeliner tattoos and we recommend contacting us to make sure you are a good candidate for the procedure.
Kissable Lips
Kissable lips are now easier to achieve. Gone are the days of a very dark liner from the 90s! Create the illusion of fuller and more defined lips with an ultra-natural and long-lasting Lip Blush tattoo. We recommend this service for anyone how has an imperfect definition that they would like to correct. Lip Blush tattoos can generally last 24-36 months before a colour refresher would be considered.

As with all tattoos, please book a consultation prior to your initial service. Your service will start off with completely numbing the lip area. Once numbed, Polina will draw the shape of your existing lips and you will work together to create a balanced shape for your face. For a lip blush, we recommend bringing your favourite nude or everyday lipstick to the appointment so that it can be colour matched. For a lipstick effect, we also suggest bringing your favourite lip product. Some colours will have to be colour corrected for the best-healed result.
The lip tissue can swell dramatically for some people. The pain level varies a lot from client to client. The most tender spots tend to be the cupid’s bow and the center of the lower lip. Polina works with special numbing to reduce swelling and keep you comfortable. Most clients will fall asleep or doze off even while feeling a buzzing sensation on their lips. For clients with certain health conditions, you can expect some bruising. Polina will finish the service with a hydrating lip product and special aftercare to make sure your lips are hydrated. Expect your lips to be sore for a couple of days post-procedure.
Your lip colour will be drastically more intense than the desired shade for the first week of healing.

All cosmetic tattoo services include a full consultation, numbing and actual service. Most appointments range between 2 to 3.5 hours in length. Aesthetic consultations are always complimentary and we encourage you to book a stand alone consultation to make sure you are a good candidate.
Below pricing does not include GST and may change at any time. First touch ups are always included if booked within 3 months of initial appointment. Clients with work from a different artist must book an initial session, touch up appointments are only honoured for returning clients.

Tattoo Removal/Lightening
Through a specially-formulated process, the lightening solution bonds with ALL permanent makeup pigments and tattoo inks resulting in a tattoo removal procedure that is NON-color dependent unlike that of laser which is colour dependent. The removal service is similar to the original tattoo procedure. Our skin is a semi-permeable membrane that allows only particles of a certain size to get through. By introducing a high concentration solution next to the dermis (where the old pigment resides), water in the cells beneath and around the pigment will rise to the areas with the higher concentration of salt and minerals. In this process of equalization, the pigment is forced up to the epidermis by osmotic pressure. The unwanted pigment or ink brought to the surface will shed in the same process as healing brows. Multiple sessions are necessary and the process is repeated with adequate healing time between sessions unless only partial lightening is required in order to cover up the old tattoo.
Consultations are highly recommended before starting a lightening procedure.

Polina will begin your service with a thorough numbing. Depending on the location and saturation of your tattoo she will either use a mineral or saline-based solution for the lightening. A consultation is strongly suggested to educate and prepare you for the expectations and longevity of treatments. Polina will tattoo over the chosen area with the proper solution and send you home with strict instructions. You can expect to have extremely dark brows and scabbing/flaking for a week.
