The studio address is 129-1628 West 1st Ave in Vancouver, however our studio is accessed through the alley behind the building. If you find yourself in front of the building, walk towards Fir St. or Pine St. to access the alley. We have palm trees in front of the studio.
Due to numerous construction projects in the area the parking situation is becoming less and less. Please give yourself ample time to find a space. Parking spots usually open up after 4pm.

When your appointment is booked through Fresha, you will receive confirmation via email or text. If you used a sign-in partner like Facebook, please note your details will be sent to those attached to that account.
You may add yourself to the waitlist and we will contact you as soon as a slot is available.
We have a strict cancellation policy however, we understand that life happens. Please communicate with us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
In the event of a no-show and no communication from you, you will not be welcome to book in again.

The Beauty Corner is meant to be a warm, inviting and supportive environment where you and your time is respected. As such we expect the same in return. Aggressive, rude and disrespectful behaviour is not tolerated and you will be blocked from booking again.

Your pets and kids may be wonderful but the studio is not a safe space for them to hang out in. We can't be distracted from watching over them while performing a service on you.
All registered service animals are welcome by law.
cosmetic tattooing
-
Yes! You will also see some providers using "Semi-Permanent Makeup" as a term. However, all of these terms fall under tattooing and by definition, anything implanted under the skin with ink and cannot be washed away...is permanent.
-
Very permanent...HOWEVER, depending on the formulation of pigments (inks) used, those pigments can fade over time. How fast they fade no one can say because that depends on your health, how deep the pigment was implanted, sun exposure and age.
People who have gone through pregnancy and breastfeeding find that their pigments fade much faster.
-
It is very rare to see cosmetic tattooing fade to absolutely nothing. The pigments will fade to something, meaning your body can pull different elements of colour sooner than others. This is why you sometimes see pink/orange/yellow/green results.
Colours that have had lots of black to darker or deepen the colour will show up more grey/purple/blue overtime. We call this "ashy".
-
There is no foolproof way other than time. There are modalities that can speed up the process like: saline tattoo removal, laser tattoo removal, acid tattoo removal and surgical removal.
We do not recommend using any over the counter products to "burn" your tattoo off. Using acids or retinols topically will not work deep enough to shift anything.
We offer saline tattoo removals that are safe for delicate areas, faded colours and clients who do not wish to go with laser. A consultation is highly recommended.

We recommend having no caffeine at least 4 hours prior to your service. You may take Tylenol before the start of your session but not Advil.
Your skin should be clean and makeup free. For freckles, brows and lips, exfoliating is beneficial 3-5 days before your skin followed by a hydrating mask.
skin care
-
Our facials always start with a conversation about your skin - your goals, concerns ans questions. From this information we customize the products and treatments for your appointment. You will be laying on your back and you will be asked to undress to your comfort level. We normally use hot towels during the facial and are able to modify how they are used for clients who feel claustrophobic.
-
Please please please let us know! A facial is meant to be a relaxing service, we don't want you having a reaction or flare up.
-
We are happy to help! Skin consultations are meant to be a discovery session for both you and us. We will help guide you in the right direction. But you can't go wrong with a 60 min classic facial.
